Heyo! My name's Miz or you could call me Mel! I'm an artist, gamer, small writer, and even a nature lover at times! I like pastel colors, especially Purple and White, plus I like to help people the best I can! This is my first zine, so I'm a bit nervous, though that does not lower my spirit and determination! I'm a positive person, as I'm also excited to participate in this zine and see how fun it would be! I'm really looking forward to working with everyone else in the future!!

☆ FAQ ☆
Q: Is this zine about the canon idols?
No! This is solely about fan musicians! Including idols, splatbands, and solo artists.
Q: Can I use someone else's fan musicians?
Others' musicians can be in the background, but please make yours the focus of the piece.
Q: What if I don't have any?
If you are interested in the zine and plan on applying, please have a musician before then.
Q: What do we consider idols?
We would consider musicians similar to the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook idols. Very popular and influential, however they do not need to be a duo or host splatfests.
Q: Will writing be included in the zine?
We won't be accepting applicants for writing only, but if you wish to include a short blurb about your musicians we will be happy to include it!
Q: Can we create a piece using 3d models?
We will not be accepting 3d art, however you can use 3d models as reference for your piece.
Q: Can we use traditional art for our piece?
Yes! However please make sure it is scanned at 300 dpi.
☆ Requirements & Specs ☆
General Requirements
Must have an Email, and preferably a Discord for communication.
Portfolios must be SFW. Any portfolios containing NSFW content will be disregarded.
Your portfolio should contain at least three finished pieces that display your current style and skill.
All traditional art must be scanned.
Specific Requirements
This zine is character focused, complex backgrounds are not required. We'd like to see heavy emphasis on characters in your portfolio.
We are looking for portfolios that display a good understanding of anatomy, color theory, and perspective.
Your musician characters must be in at least one of the finished pieces in your portfolio.
